Join the best San Francisco free dive group for all of your training, depth, and spearfishing fun. We offer weekly training sessions, monthly spear and free dive events, and trips all over the world. This is also a great place to meet new free divers and make life-long underwater friends.

Monterey Freedivers is a resource for the local community providing a space for sharing local site information, freedive resources, dive buddies, and photos/videos.

Fin + Forage is an inclusive and sustainable spearfishing resource. We are a one-stop shop for spearos, cooks, and lovers of wild food.

This group is geared towards the identification of marine species in the subtidal of the Monterey Bay area.

This group is for dive reports, conditions reports, lost gear and alerts of events open to the entire Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur diving community. Reports and events from Sonoma and Mendocino are welcome as well. Other posts will be deleted. No soliciting of boats, shops, training, trips or other commercial endeavors.

I'm Niko, a queer trans person, a life long LGBTQ activist, avid diver, and ocean lover. I’m starting this group with the hope to build more queer, and particularly trans community around diving, with a focus on local diving and training.
