Ready to dive deeper? 

This course will teach you what you need to know to safely dive to depths of 20 to 30 meters. 

You'll learn about advanced equalization techniques, stretches and training exercises, and also build your own custom neck weight. After your class and pool trainings, you'll get to test what you've learned from two days of boat diving in Monterey. 

Course requirements and details
  • Pre-requisite: SSI level 1, equivalent certification or experience as a freediver

  • Academic Exam – 25 Questions Multiple Choice

  • 4 Ocean Dives required for certification

Maximum Training Depth
  • Skills at surface, 5, 10, and 20m

  • Maximum depth of 30 meters

Age requirements
  • Minimum age: 10 years old

  • Students 10-14 are required to book Semi-Private or Private lessons

Gear requirements
  • Gear Required – Mask & Snorkel

  • Gear Required - 3mm Socks & Long Fins, Rubber Belt, 5mm Open Cell Wetsuit *Available to Rent*

Group Freediver L2 Class

Maximum 6 students

Classroom, pool, 4 ocean dives

Classroom + pool schedule
  • Monday 6-10pm

  • Wednesday 6-10pm

  • Friday  6-10pm

 

Ocean schedule

After your class and pool sessions, apply what you've learned over 2 days of boat diving in Monterey Bay. 

  • Saturday 9am-3pm

  • Sunday 9am-3pm

$595 per person

  • $100 Boat Fees

  • $70 for SSI Digital Course: Online & Offline Access, SSI App, Processing Fees & Certification Card
