Bamboo Reef's Staff has put together a fun and exciting underwater photography course designed to meet the needs of every diver hoping to bring home something more substantial than just memories.

The class begins with an interesting evening of basic and intermediate theory to help improve your under water image making skills.  You will then return for an evening in the swimming pool to practice these techniques and learn to fine tune your buoyancy control (important for getting the best possible photos).

Then join us for two days in Monterey, one from shore, one from a boat, practicing basic and advanced photo techniques.  Led by one of our own underwater photo experts, we'll apply our theory and techniques in many of the underwater environments common to our local waters.  We'll also focus on identifying many of the critters we find in our framers, and how to stay safe in the water while focusing on our subjects.

You will earn certifications in Underwater Photography, Navigation, Boat, and Local Fish and Critter ID, when combined with a total of 24 logged dives these will qualify you as an SSI Advanced Diver.
