The rewards of being an SSI Open Water Instructor are as great as its responsibilities. If you have the calling, The Bamboo Reef will be conducting the SSI ITC and Evaluation at its San Francisco location. 584 4th St., S.F.

Prerequisites
Candidates must be SSI Dive-Cons, Divemasters, or Assistant Instructors from recognized organizations. They must be current in CPR, First Aid, and have a recent medical examination by the completion of the course.

Schedule
The Course will meet on alternating weekends for 4 weekends.
(If attendance is 4 candidates or less it may be possible to complete the work in less time)

Home Study
The SSI Instructor Course utilizes the same approach and principles as all their courses. There is extensive home work to prepare Candidates for each chapter. Candidates must have purchased the SSI Instructor Package prior to the beginning of class and be prepared with that day's work.

Costs
The SSI Instructor Course and Evaluation is $1200. This does not include $200 to SSI for registration and dues. The SSI Instructor Teaching Package is additional.
